What began as a workaround quickly became a movement. Within a year, we were partnering with local farmers to cultivate more than 20 acres of hemp. A year later, we weren’t just growing. We were thriving.

But to really get to the roots of our story, we have to go further back. Long before we hid clones in salads, we had a vision for a world where cannabis was...

CELEBRATED, NOT CENSORED.

That dream and that smuggled salad represented the simplest of truths: that life should be enjoyed, that it’s okay to lean into the weird, and that we’ve got zero interest in bringing you down.  Seriously…

So what does that mean?

ELEVATE THE PROCESS

In order to improve you gotta break things down to their core.  Literally.  From the strain library we’ve cultivated to the living soil we plant our cannabis in, we pride ourselves on growing and breeding only the finest, purest plants. At the lab we focus on ensuring the cleanest ingredients, so we strip the cannabinoids to their perfect form and apply a variety of extraction and purification processes depending on what best suits the product we’re looking to perfect. It’s a lot of science, and it’s pretty overwhelming, but there’s a driving force behind all of this that’s important: there’s always a way to do things better. Always. And as such, we’re just gonna keep experimenting, keep innovating, and keep improving.

ELEVATE THE PRODUCT

No one’s ever won an award for producing crap, so we must be doing something right. If the solid foundation rests in the process, elevating the product requires our heads to be in the clouds. To be creative. To be dreamers. It’s clear mankind has a rich history of trying new things to consume and seeing what sticks. Turducken, anyone?  Cannabis is no different. The only distinction is that we can experiment and try new forms and products at a speed faster than most categories, and with flavors far more delicious than a duck jammed in a chicken jammed in a turkey. The goal — always — is to create things we’d love, at a quality that would make us proud, with a taste that leaves your tongue happy.

ELEVATE THE PEOPLE

We started this business because life should be enjoyed, but no one was making the products that fit our needs nor the lives we led.  So we got to work for us and others. A customer-centric approach to evolution is what keeps us grounded. Whether it’s in Burlington or beyond, we support the emotional, mental, and physical growth of the people we serve. That means knowing every aspect of our process and products,  and the benefits they offer, and sharing that knowledge honestly.  The result is a more mindful connection for a more informed community — and a better way to understand how we improve your everyday life in a way that’s always lifting it up.

Better Fit

And while we’ve gone through different  business models and a few names over  the years — Green State Gardener, Upstate Elevator Supply Co., Green State Dispensary, Upstate Elevator Operators — there’s been one that’s truly stuck, and one we’re sticking  with, for good reason…

Honestly, there’s no place better than Northern Vermont. We’ve got a long history of starting trends and keeping things weird. Throw in our resilience, our open-mindedness, our eff-it-we’ll-figure-out-a-way-to-make-it-work mentality, and you’ve got a recipe to be proud of

We’re not in the lift, hoist, or conveyer business, but elevators are all we’ve ever made. The flower, the drinks, the gummies, the ever-interesting innovations that help people improve their mood, their outlook, their health, and their life are the only things we intend to produce.
