Your First Visit to a Burlington Dispensary: What to Know Before You Go

Low clouds drifting over fall foliage on a Vermont hillside.

A first visit to Upstate Elevator Dispensary takes about as long as a coffee stop.

We are at 699 Pine Street, in Burlington's South End, open seven days a week.

Here is what to know before you walk in.

What to bring

  • A valid, government-issued photo ID. You must be 21 or older, and the ID must show your birthdate.
  • Nothing else. Adult-use purchases in Vermont do not need a medical card.

Our hours

  • Monday to Saturday: 8:30am to 7pm.
  • Sunday: 10am to 6pm.

How ordering works

You can order ahead on our online menu and pick up quickly.

You can also walk in and browse with a budtender.

The menu covers flower, pre-rolls, edibles, beverages, vapes and concentrates, including our own in-house strains.

Getting here and parking

We have plenty of free parking, so you won't need to hunt for a spot.

Downtown Burlington is a long walk or a short drive away, and we are right off Exit 13 on Interstate 89.

Our Visit page has a map and directions.

What to ask your budtender

Our team answers these every day, so no question is too basic.

  • What is a good starting dose? Start low and wait before you take more.
  • What is the difference between flower, edibles and drinks? Each one is taken differently and takes effect on a different timeline.
  • What do you carry from Vermont growers? Our shelves hold Vermont-grown flower alongside our in-house strains.
  • What is new this week? The menu changes, and your budtender knows what just arrived.

Two things worth knowing

  • Free consultations. You can book a one-on-one with our Director of Education to talk through products and doses. Book a consultation.
  • The Lift League. Our loyalty program earns 1 point for every dollar you spend, in store or online. See how it works.

When you are ready, view the menu or stop by Pine Street.
