South End Art Hop is one of Burlington's best weekends, and this year, night one starts right in the Upstate Elevator parking lot. On Friday, September 11, from 5 to 10pm, we're turning our Pine Street lot into a full-on block party, with live music, food trucks, art, and a beer garden.

The night opens at 5:30pm with Clean Fill, a Burlington-based band bringing their own local flavor to warm up the crowd.
At 7pm, Dobbs' Dead takes over. They're one of the most talented outfits in Vermont's Dead scene, and they channel the spirit of the Grateful Dead like few others can. If you're into danceable grooves and deep cuts from the Jerry Garcia Band catalog, this is the set for you. Whether you've followed the Dead scene for years or you're brand new to it, Dobbs' Dead makes it easy to fall in.

Food: Tin Bucks BBQ and Smash & Splash will be on-site serving up something for everyone.

Drinks: The Zero Gravity Beer Garden is pouring beer, NA beer and cocktails and we're running our own beverage sampling bar for our new kanna and kava sips.

Art you can be part of: Add your own brushstroke to a community Paint by Number mural, taking shape over the course of the weekend.

Live painting: Local artist Amber Harvey will be painting on-site. Come watch the process unfold in real time.

Queen City Celebrates 75: Queen City Printers is celebrating seventy-five years in business, and they're offering guided tours and free art prints to mark the occasion.
Plan Your Night
You don't need a reason to stop by other than good music and good company, but if you're coming to shop our selection too, we'll have that covered as well. Just know the lot closes to traffic at 4:30pm, so plan to walk, bike, or get dropped off if you're headed our way. The dispensary will be open late until 9pm on Friday, September 11th.
The event itself is free and open to all ages. The beer garden and dispensary are limited to ages 21 and up.
